Infinity Software Exits for $25 Million – Scaling Up Key (case study)
This Scaleups.com article details how Alexx Leyva and his brothers used the OPSP, quarterly themes, daily huddles, etc. to scale Infinity Software from $4 million to $10 million. This also meant scaling the team from 12 to 36 plus 35 contractors. Key was the Topgrading hiring method which they mastered taking our online hybrid course. How Do You Refer to Your Employees? Metamates!
On Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg announced that employees would be referred to as metamates i.e. “Meta, metamates, me” derived from “ship, shipmates, self." It’s also a play on teammates. This Fortune article details the feedback and notes that other well-known firms have followed suit. I’m a fan of picking an insider codeword for employees – another one of those “hundred little things” that matter if rolled out correctly.
