Buffett protégé Tracy Britt Cool reminded us of the importance of “never arriving empty-handed” to an important meeting. She shared during Tuesday’s Leading@Scale event that she thinks one reason she was hired by Warren was because she brought him a bushel of corn and a batch of tomatoes from her family’s farm in Kansas. What Next Meeting Requires a Gift?
I’m spending time with the President of a global firm, tomorrow, and it was a good reminder to bring him more than a copy of my book, which I think I’ve thoughtfully selected. John Ruhlin, author of Giftology (Jean, Amazon Associate link) is the guru of this concept. What next key meeting requires a thoughtful gift?
